Across many fast-growing markets in the Global South, the phone is the primary computer. Connectivity can be uneven. Data can be expensive. Language coverage is inconsistent. Advanced software often assumes device performance, bandwidth, payment methods, and technical skills that many potential creators do not have.
These are not edge cases. They are product requirements.
Start with the devices people have
A web application should open on an everyday phone as naturally as it opens on a desktop. Creation flows should tolerate smaller screens and intermittent networks. Useful work should not depend on a premium local development setup.
Treat language as infrastructure
Language is not a final translation layer. It shapes how people describe intent, learn a tool, ask for help, and share what they make.
AI creation should meet people in the language they think in, while still producing applications that can travel across communities.
Make intelligence efficient
